Would that not simply make all men the property of the state?
Having to pay a tax for a state of existence is a bit much, no?
The state of ownership means that you cannot do anything without the permission of your owner. So basically, everyone already is.
It's more lenient than taxes have historically been. Many states have had a head tax, and this applied whether you weree married or not.
