Lmao. I used reddit for 10 years -- ever since the Ron Paul era. I wasn't going to leave until they forced me out. My front page was nothing like the default, ofc.
I was permabanned for similar language against some antifa brainlet gloating about stealing. The admins are super strict about violent threats, especially against thier own
No, this definitely does not justify a 'permanent suspension', even by their deranged rules - unless they had falsely nailed you for many other phony violations before.
You know full well that they don't have rules. They have a grab bag of things to shout at people they dislike that may or may not be related to the real reason they're being purged.
I'd argue that the context matters a lot here. If this were just a normal conversation between me and an actual redditor, then my remark would have been justifiably seen as over-the-top (though permanent suspension is imo a big overreaction). But in this case it was an obvious, provable shill sea-lioning in the middle of a conversation between others. What I said would have been more or less like telling some random door-to-door salesperson to fuck off and die. Harsh? Maybe, but maybe warranted given their intrusion (especially if you consider what they're shilling for). But that's not acceptable. Today's social media is modled not after a town square or an old-school bulletin board or even just a chat -- no, it's modelled after a Shopping Mall, where the point is to expose everyone inside to as much and as powerful of manipulation as possible by those who pay the owners for access to the sheep. And you are not to resist any kind of approach, provocation, or shilling, but sit back and drink in the ads.
Note that the account I outed was quickly deleted afterwards since their cover was blown, but my 10-year old account? Suspended, no redress.
Reddit is officially lost.
That's not an accident. That's the culmination of years of effort by this point.
I don't know why you faggots keep bothering with reddit. Either you just MUST consoome product, or even worse, you're just addicted to the outrage.
Stop discussing serious shit in open (and popular) platforms. And if you do, don't act surprised when you get shit like that.
You probably knew how reddit was, but kept using it anyway. And that's what you get for your troubles.
I'd say it was well deserved.

Faggit was lost many years ago.
Bans don't work.
CCleaner. New account. Boom, unbanned.
What do you "clean" with the CCleaner? Just browser stuff? Or registry stuff? And/or...?

They do have rules. They just don't follow them.
He asked an NPC to gracefully shut down. To be fair, that'd get you shit over here too...
