Yes. I wasn't a fan of Trump at the time and it still struck me as odd how many times someone would say "Did you hear what the idiot/madman/loser in chief said today?" or direct a completely unrelated work conversation to talking about him. "Hey at least that's not as ridiculous as what this imaginary-insider-close-to-Trump's-thinking claimed he did yesterday..."
Even when he was running in 2016, I watched the debate and thought it was pretty funny, then at work a woman was enraged that he called Hillary "a nasty woman" and claimed he just cost himself the election with that mistake. I didn't understand what the big deal was. I almost said "ok but what if Hillary IS a nasty women?" but held my tongue.
