I was just thinking about how much of the clown world bullshit was taken to 11 after Trump got into office. His win broke leftists brains and started an avalanche of hate propaganda that turned the slippery slope into a straight drop. Polarization accelerated, and degenerates - knowing they had institutional protection - are now more than willing to take the mask off and play the demonic role we always expected them to. America exported their insanity to the rest of the western world. The pendulum is still firmly to the left and every time we nudge it a bit back to normalcy, the clowns go mad and push as far they can in the other direction.
In a similar vein, people have gone absolutely nuts over the Dobbs decision. It's not just crazy people on tiktok. You've got blue states passing abortion-up-to-birth laws (if they're feeling cute that day maybe even after birth idk), and the federal government considering allowing unrestricted abortions on federal territory and military bases.
Even if they are stopped in the US will leftist activists direct their energy towards protecting child sacrifice around the world? Will we start to see other countries in the Liberal World Order drop current abortion restrictions simply because lefties are now sperging that it's a "human right" so they can own the cons?
From what I could tell, most countries ban abortions at some point after the first trimester, or at least make the woman jump through extra steps to get it done later. This article from the very badly named Human Rights Watch shows how even in March activists groups were chomping at the bit to get rid of abortion laws in Europe. France made it's law less restrictive and that still wasn't good enough for them.
Also when writing this I found a piece of news from one of our favorite establishment propaganda rags which might have answered my question.
And last Saturday, the day after the Supreme Court overturned Roe, legislators from President Emmanuel Macron’s party—backed by his prime minister—introduced a measure that would enshrine abortion rights in the French constitution.
Isn't Democracy great? We totally vote for laws based on what's in the best interest of our nation and it's people, and not at all based on reactionary tribalism.
You'd be surprised how little non-English speaking people care about US internal news.
Heads of State may notice, but regular people give no shits.
No, leftism, irrationality and hysteria will lead to more abortions around the world.
Eventually we're going to have to deal with the clowns more definitively.
Around the world? No.
Around California and New York? Yes.
To be fair, it's a give and take. Others also heavily exported the crazy to the States, too.
This may be overly optimistic, but I think the pendulum has already started swinging back, and I'm not sure it can be stopped. Yes, it's still far left right now, but there are signs it's started its return journey.
War, uh, what is it good for? ...This, this right here. Seriously, what a disastrous proposal, and talk about infringement of state's rights. I hope they are stopped before they can go ahead, because if not things escalate from there. Or, alternatively, the accelerationist approach...let them do it, and states might end up with more rights if they push back on it and demand more independence from the feds.
To answer your main question, will Roe vs Wade reversal lead to more abortions around the world? I don't think so but, even if it did, I think it's the right call on principle. Roe was a terrible decision, no matter which side you come down on. This returns the choice to the States and the people (allegedly.) If this somehow did lead to more abortion, it is what it is. As much as I find the practice disgusting, that's on the people getting or doing the abortions, and it's still nice that now each state has a right to do what they want regarding those laws. That's how this whole united States thing is supposed to work. If the left wants to go insane and evil, that's on them. At least other states can now try to do their own thing, and maybe they'll have better culture to show for it.
Yes, I too have read Freakonomics and I will remind you that correlation is not causation.
The sacrifices to Moloch must continue.
