Oh, you're still in that phase of noticing. Uh, they are aware of the double standard but the simple fact is they don't care because they agree with the people in charge.
Repressive tolerance. The government has picked political sides; the only way it knows how to progress from here is to gradually criminalise simply not being on the side they've already picked.
Thats why you need to stop caring and go full monke. They want to make examples of individuals and peaceful groups. They need to have their tactics turned against them.
