Not sure Kyle's story would have ended the same way if he only had a handgun.

Soyboys are bottom tier mobs like any zombies or goombas. I think a handgun would have been more than enough to shred their already low HP cap

If a trigglypuff-class mob appeared then he would have been in trouble
