No bad tactics, only bad targets. Rules don't apply to them.
Friends of the regime have the privilege of making death threats on the enemies of the regime. Enemies of the regime may not even joke about the death of anyone.
Or, as Auron MacIntyre puts it, it's not hypocrisy; it's hierarchy.
On Reddit I always had to say: no, you can't accuse people of being pedophiles.
They they would say: but I see Trump accused of that everywhere on the site.
Ironically, they may even seize on someone on a 'bad sub' calling Trump a pedophile to ban the sub, even though it's allowed elsewhere.

Twitter enforcement is biased, but it's also arbitrary. In my experience.
