I'd say greatness is incredibly rare to begin with, and women trend toward it even less than men do, by a significant margin. There are few great men, and fewer great women.
There can be a great women but also you can win the lottery without buying a ticket by finding a winning ticket stuck to the bottom of your shoe.
The fact that the rules of the universe don't preclude an outcome doesn't mean we need to take into account every possibility, no matter how improbable, in our decision making.
