Because they had their guns stolen, the state was coercived and jailed dissidents and so long as you went along with it, you were fine.

Which is what I said to begin with.

The point is Canada is way passed that stage, Trudeau is already in power.

You’re talking about Hitler already being Chancellor. I’m talking about Hitler getting popular enough to become Chancellor in the first place, now I see.
