The thought comes to mind because at some point this bullshit has to end, either with the collapse of society or the start of something new, and well, I'm genuinely curious at what everyone’s idea end state is, if you had the power to make your ideal society happen instantly, what would it look like?
I'm especially interested in the opinions of those who don't really like minorities, as well as our resident “woman hater”, but anyone and everyone’s free to reply. I'll edit mine into this post later, I gotta go back to work.
Basically the original constitution, but with some reinforcement.
Mandatory gun ownership for citizens.
Politicians are required to be armed, but not allowed to have security.
No gun free zones. All they do is create targets.
No censorship.
Communism is illegal and punishable by the death penalty.
No fault divorce is illegal. Child support is to be capped at a limited amount, and expenses must be approved by both parties, to avoid the money being spent on something other than the child.
Abortion is to be practiced only at a hospital and will have strict requirements for approval. It is not, and should not be, a substitute for birth control.
Affirmative action, and other grievance based policies are illegal.
Any politician who attempts to circumvent the constitution is to be publicly executed.
The only tax allowed is sales tax. None of this property tax bullshit where you "own" property but still have to rent it.
Politicians can serve no more than 2 terms in office, and a total of no more than 10 years in any political office.
Police forces cannot be the recipients of fines that they issue. Furthermore, any damages resulting from lawsuits will come out of their pensions, to be capped at a certain amount.
No restrictions on any of these rights in any state.
All currency used in the country must be backed by gold, or some other real asset. None of this fiat currency crap.
Corporations cannot occupy more than 30% market share in any given market.
Corporations based in the country must have a certain percentage of manufacturing in the country
Politicians cannot accept gifts, donations or any outside money during their term in office. This rule also applies to a period of 10 years before and 20 years after their term ends.
You must be a property owner to vote. People who can just up and leave at a whim should not be entrusted to vote in the interest of their state or country.
You must be a natural born citizen of at least 3 generations in order to vote. Obviously this doesn't apply to the first 3 generations.
Immunity from liability for a corporation knowingly producing a defective product is illegal. No more of this pfizer shit.
10.1 Like double jeopardy, no double taxing the same money.
For example, no income tax, then sales taxing. Or Income taxing then inheritance taxing when it changes hands.
The money is taxed only once at the most relevant applicable rate.
Yes. When changing hands. Don't get me wrong I didn't mean only taxed once ever in its creation.
They shouldn't be allowed for example earlier given, claim income tax on money, then claim inheritance tax when it's changed hands. That money was already taxed, multiple times before it got pooled together as a pot to be inherited. It also has lost value over the years compounding that tax effect to then be taxed again, likely at a greater sum.
Or for example as you said, Employer pays tax when they pay you, you pay tax when you receive it. Then you pay tax again when you buy an item, even tho the manufacturer will have already paid their goods tax for said item.
At present taxing isn't when it changes hands, it's when it changes "form". Their excuse is that it's only ever being taxed once, per person, for that reason. But that means they can claim two sets of tax for one exchange.
See https://www.theolivepress.es/spain-news/2020/03/27/gibraltar-kicks-off-its-double-tax-agreement-with-uk-to-attract-big-money/ for an example.
Yes this is regarding changing countries and being taxed twice but the effect is still the same. What they do there is you are taxed based in the country where the work took place, instead of being taxed in both.
The same could easily be applied to income or money source.
How would you even control this? People naturally gravitate to what is best. You're not going to be able to force people to use LibreOffice over Microsoft Office, for example.
