Do you know wh you still have that mentality?
It's because of our Christian roots as a nation. Our founders were Deists but Protestant Christian was and still is the most practiced religion here in the US. I'm not religious either, but my parents are, and I'm fairly sure that "base" that was built by my parents is the reason why I haven't turned into a stark raving mad SJW.
It's allowed me to learn what religious people mean by 'objective'/absolute truth. It's how I'm able to look at that reddit post above and just see it as pure evil.
It's because I still have a moral foundation to base my decisions on. I am on the "safe, legal, and rare" side (and even then, I 100% understand the right's side that it's babykilling no matter what) and I think Planned Parenthood is absolutely fucking evil and predatory. I think everything should be done to prevent unwanted conceptions from happening in the first place. Sex ed in high school, encouragement of contraception, but most importantly, encouraging people to have some fucking self-worth and stop being hedonistic whores that fuck the moment someone bends over (abstinence I guess).
There are ways to do it, but leftists don't want to do that, because it would undermine their power.
