Plays in your browser with keyboard and mouse (sorry phone users). Takes about 40 seconds to 1 min to download.

You are stuck in a spooky library and can't leave all of the books are in the right place. A supernatural presence is in there with you! Avoid it, return the books, and escape!

Please play the game and leave any thoughts or observations you may have, including negative feedback. For this test we are specifically hoping to get feedback on the monster behavior, detection, pursuit, etc, and how it feels to the players.

New in this release are configuration settings for brightness, mouse sensitivity and field of view. I recommend using the lowest brightness you can handle for the most fun experience.

Also there is now a setting to change the standard "click and drag" interactions to "click to pick up, click to release". This is specifically to help those playing on touchpads. Click and drag is the recommended setting.

If you have technical problems like hanging or failing to load or framerate or graphics issues please provide your browser version, your cpu type and speed, your ram size, and your video card info.

Thanks for playing!

I played around with it a couple minutes of a lunch break. It loads for me now in Linux. Doesn't run that well, but I haven't the slightest idea if I have the correct drivers or anything I never game on this machine anymore. I tried your last iteration on my mini PC that I do have set up with Windows for gaming and it worked pretty well, I'd say great considering the weak hardware. I'll give it a try tonight and play it a bit. Not totally my type of game, I'd prefer to blast the monsters with a machine gun, but I like the aesthetic.

Does the high and low setting for graphics do anything at the moment? I tried that on my Linux run and it doesn't seem to and then it would reset itself to High anyway.

Also, I'm really curious to read "Creative Title", can we get that on the book club next time?

Played it some more. Works a lot better than the last time, particularly things that should be easy like opening doors etc. I'm still not very good at it. Flashlight is a good add. The AI is unpredictable, which I think partly is a good thing for making difficulty, but others it would sort of bug in place, like one of the others said the middle of the room. One other thing I noticed is I wasn't consistently getting credit for objectives when I placed the books in the shelf in the starting room. Am I required to place them in order? I just put in whatever book I found first and it wouldn't always mark it off the objectives.

thats a bug we thought was fixed, any possibility you could record a movie of it?

Well, I tried. I just did about 5 deaths, probably 10-15 books. Not one of them had an issue. When I played earlier almost all of them were failing. I guess that's troubleshooting for you...
