I'm not at all surprised, The media playing favoritism is not helping racism but making it worse. How many would have rioted for George Floyd if he was presented as a bad human that just swallowed a deadly amount of fentanyl while we are also investigating the police officers involved. The media had to go overboard and present it like cops are out there just killing black people left and right - despite all the available data showing otherwise. We had washington university pulling a study showing that white people are more likely then black people to be killed by police relative to the number of police interactions not because it was wrong, they admitted that the study was factually correct but because they did not like the narrative.

Every grifter, celebrity and media figure went with the narrative.

And we need to fight it from a cultural point, we can't have people like George Floyd raised to the level of saints. You want a solution for black kids, give them good role models, black people with integrity, dedication, that value hard work, family and education not the likes of George Floyd.
