According to "white fragility" the only reason white people help non-white people is to make themselves feel better about their racism or to demonstrate how not racist they are. Since the minorities are being "used" for the white person's benefit that is also racism.
And the fact this twisted logic is mainstream is very sad. I tell my white friends to ignore accusations of racism and stop taking them seriously. Although with white people an accusation of racism is believed without any proof all too often. Or a minority who doesn’t fall in line becomes a white supremacist.
