I think it's a good thing that the last SW I had watched was Episode III; this was my first teaser of the Disney era, and what can I say: I will not watch this one, just as I did not watched the others.
(For me, the Star Wars franchise is Star Wars from 1977, and I don't care about the other films or television series.)
I really, REALLY love Star Wars. It's such a shame that they quit making them after Empire.
The space battle in Jedi is pure kino. Not to mention the moment Luke loses his mind in the duel.
Yes. The duel with Vader is the best moment of the films imo. Not flashy, but full of meaning and innuendo.
Right? The sister reveal was really stupid - would’ve been fine if she had just been his friend. But the lightsaber duel and space battle at the end of RotJ are both superb.
it works really well, finding out her effect on diplomacy in the empire era, and where her skills came from. It only became goofy once dibsney made her into space jesus... but that entire movie was bad. Predibsney she was a total badass feminine character (something disshills cant get enough of when THEY make one)
Take your ewoks and leave... Good DAY, sir.
If somebody can deep fake Ewooks into 7' tall Wookies the original trilogy would be perfect.
Now that's a special edition I can get behind. Make sure to pitch bend Yub Nub down an octave or two to complete the effect.
im happy to put up with the ewoks for that Vader and Luke fight scene and the death of Palpatine alone, so much raw emotion
It doesn't drag down the rest of the OT, but it did start some of the worst trends that continue to plague Star Wars.
nah, you dont/ 1-3 was pretty good too. in 2014, disney bought Star Wars, and then the entire creative team seppukued. too bad we'll never know how it woulda beem
