Gain of function, if that's what you're refferring to, is incredibly stupid but it's disingenous to claim they were producing bioweapons.
Is it disingenuous when during the initial outbreak, China banned travel from Wuhan to the rest of China while permitting international flights out? They clearly used the virus as a weapon.
They also threatened Australia who wanted to investigate the origins of the virus
