Lol. Globalist punitive measures targeting Russia for not toeing the line lead to the de-integration of globalized financing systems. Whatever you might think of Russia's actions in Ukraine, this is a positive step. The mere existence of a viable alternative to Visa and Mastercard is a blow to the globalist agenda.
I trust them more. Not that I want anything to do with them, but the rules do make a certain amount of sense (in that, they can be followed, not that I agree with them). And are much less likely to change at the drop of a hat, unlike Wokeism. Neither is a good option (I'd much prefer "just leave me the flip alone!"), but if I had to choose between praising Winnie the Pooh or living in Wokeistan, I'd choose Pooh.
I hear you, and feel roughly the same. China is a 'lesser evil'/'enemy of my enemy' level of trust for me. A multi-polar world is better than totalitarian globohomo hegemony, but that doesn't mean each of the poles can't be 'evil' in its own way.
The likelihood that I run afoul the Chinese government is incredibly slim. The likelihood that I do something to offend the wokies is all but guaranteed.

Kinda...except its by the Chinese and I trust them even less than mastercard/visa, and that doesn't mean I trust them either

Praise one Pooh, or accept the pooh flung by a generation of bussy bearing trust fund kids.
Oh gee, let me think.

Competition is always good.
