I'm rather surprised that they felt this was necessary. I don't think they have many (any?) prominent conservative streamers there these days.
Maybe they just want to signal that Twitch is safe from 'bad actors' to grow their social credit score.
All I can see that would change there is their mods get a bevy of reports about some streamers/podcasters for like 3-4 days and then back to business as usual.
