Many more (tens of thousands) are in Russia.

A handful of Russian ones of specifically pagan variety fight against Russia in Ukraine but many more of the same and other kinds fight for Russia. They were joined in that by some Swedes, Italians, Serbs, etc.

It's sort of similar to the former Yugo in the 1990s. Some Polish extremists in particular were rumored (like in sensationalist articles in Komandos, a Polish knock-off of Soldier of Fortune) to having fought for the "far right" Croats due to the Catholic ties but possibly also for the Serbs, as did obviously a plenty of Russians (including the memetic Nazbols). There was even a Polish movie about it (and also another one about arms smugglers, this one's better) but it's just awful and I don't recommend it to anyone.
