The very fact that they feel the need to defend themselves like this means they know their actions are indefensible. After letting foreign-funded rioters last year get away with burning down churches and cutting the heads off of statues, their repeated incitements failed to provoke a violent response from the convoy, and the world watches while they tear-gas kids and trample grandmothers. No amount of bootlicking, Trudeau-fellating Twitterati can possibly make them look like the good guys here.
I'm going for both. Seems more logical. I mean, it's a PR person sitting in an office bragging about what the police are going to do to unarmed people. Either stupid or sadistic.
Movie is ok, short story by Asimov is better. It’s where we get the word “robot” from (no, I’m not kidding).
But no, I was referring to a song, off an album, by that band, from the 1970s, which precedes the movie by around 25 years or so, lol…
It’s… Prog rock. It’s a bit weird, but I thoroughly recommend it. Like, you need to hear it at least once, lol…
And then you can read the Asimov, too. 😅
But fuck, dude, just… Listen to the album once, I beg you. It is high art (in a good way).
Edit: “robotics”, not “robot”, which precedes it somewhat…
Asimov did also come up with the three laws of robotics, though, which I assume you already know. But if not, worth a look.
This is like, supreme nerd territory, but Asimov and Philip K Dick (Total Recall and Bladerunner are his) AND Frank Herbert (Dune) are like… Tolkien level of importance, here, lol.
You’ll like Asimov in particular. Dude was rather… “Based”.

Ah yes, not following police orders means that violence against you is justified, unless you are BLM or a black criminal.
Pure evil.
It’s funny because “assaultive” *is not a word… Or at least not in standard English…
So either the police PR person is an idiot, or they speak French (it IS Canada), or indeed both…
“Assaultive”… That’s like an “assault” on the English language… 😖

I've heard a lot of the jackboots are in fact French-Canadian which is why they're so willing to beat down the English.
Pay no attention to the gender of those supporting this...
#she-covery
Pay no attention to the writing on the wall - I, Robot - Alan Parsons Project?
Never saw that movie.
