Movie is ok, short story by Asimov is better. It’s where we get the word “robot” from (no, I’m not kidding).
But no, I was referring to a song, off an album, by that band, from the 1970s, which precedes the movie by around 25 years or so, lol…
It’s… Prog rock. It’s a bit weird, but I thoroughly recommend it. Like, you need to hear it at least once, lol…
And then you can read the Asimov, too. 😅
But fuck, dude, just… Listen to the album once, I beg you. It is high art (in a good way).
Edit: “robotics”, not “robot”, which precedes it somewhat…
Asimov did also come up with the three laws of robotics, though, which I assume you already know. But if not, worth a look.
This is like, supreme nerd territory, but Asimov and Philip K Dick (Total Recall and Bladerunner are his) AND Frank Herbert (Dune) are like… Tolkien level of importance, here, lol.
You’ll like Asimov in particular. Dude was rather… “Based”.
