Mao and his crazy wife did a pretty good job on Chinas confucian culture. Although they had to kill millions to do it and caused total and utter chaos.
That's the ultimate result of atheism or, as it is more correctly named; nihilism.
Ultimately these types end up falling down the rabbit hole of hedonistic despair. Nothing matters, there's nothing to look forward to, and there's no greater truth, so why bother with any of this?
Usually I find they turn into transhumanists that seek to destroy the human race and replace it with machines.
How come followers of religions that do not have a good afterlife, like ancient paganism or Buddhism (actual ones, not the fake ones in the West), do not have the same problem - if the problem is not having 'something to look forward to'?
Religion itself prescribes for the individual and for the masses a way that the world functions. It provides for something greater than oneself. Simple belief provides honor, hope, and pride no matter what the exact tenets are.
Nihilism is the exact opposite. It teaches one to hate themselves and everything and everyone.
When you say something like "good" afterlife you reveal your bias and internal dialogue. What is good? Is that for you to decide? Even more telling is that you use Buddhism which has a very robustly defined afterlife.
Remember that we are human. Our pride dictates that we shall gladly give our lives for something greater than ourselves, whether it be king, country, or god.
For those broken hedonistic nihilists they want an end to everything. They want to sacrifice humanity on an altar for their demonic machine god. Some realize what they're doing, some don't. In the end they all walk the same path. A new religion is born and they willingly throw themselves in the funeral pyre to please their lords.
Of all the dumb stuff in there, and there's a lot, "culture should be dissolved" takes the price.
Imagine thinking that culture is something that you can "dissolve" by decree.
That's the legacy of the French Revolution and their Year I for you. All the evils of the past 200 years have grown from that.
Kirk isn't a Liberal, he's an opportunist.
Look up "be candid," "amazing atheist," and "Harmful Opinions" for more information...

Last I heard, Google bought it outright (or was it facebook? eh, six of one...)
Thankfully, public opinion is slowly souring on such things...
That being said, we really should be developing counter-measures...
So...... George Carlin then.
Sounds like he's fit in with a lot of the blackpillers here.
I'm at a theater right now, waiting for the play to resume. People are having a blast, laughing. The building is gorgeous.
I can see why this nasty druggie useless nihilist piece of shit hating this, but that shows his rotten soul.
Like, even a rabid communist is going to stop and go, "wait..."
We tried that! We failed!
Books burn. Archives can be erased.
And not have it replaced immediately

If you kill every human there is no culture left

It'd be sad if it wasn't so demonic.

You've got the wrong idea, Tony.
