We blocked the convoy in our neighbourhood this morning at Riverside at Bank. We started with about 25 people with hundreds more who have joined in solidarity. We made sure residents could get through but kept the convoy here.
I walked downtown around Albert for 3 hours, didn't see any sign of them, plenty of truckers though.
Also, someone should point out that if they're driving around with Canadian flags on their car, blocking traffic, everyone will assume they are supporting the truckers. They need a distinct flag, maybe something in red and yellow...
Also want to add, the truckers aren't "blocking" much of anything, other than right in front of the parliament buildings. Even a block away they're just parked on both sides of the street turning them into one-ways. I couldn't find a hospital with truckers anywhere near it, for example.
Far more streets are being blocked by police barricades, well away from the main protest. I spend half an hour trying to get around them to find parking without seeing (or hearing) a single truck.
So you disrupt the blockade by creating a blockade? The lack of intelligence knows no bounds.
Keep in mind someone said a solution to this was to
Empty the fuel tanks
Slash the tyres
Then remove the trucks
🙄

Yeah, doubt it was hundreds.
My friend said "about 20" and that was 4pm.

The huge crowd of like 30 people lmao.
Looks like a bugman.
