Stories like Whitney’s are common, according to Dr. Raegan McDonald-Mosley, CEO of the reproductive rights campaign Power to Decide, despite how under the Affordable Care Act, insurers are legally required to cover the full range of contraceptive methods, without any out-of-pocket costs.

They're conflating two separate things here: the full range of methods with the full range of implementations of those methods. The insurance provider probably does cover the full range of methods. In this case, they likely cover another birth control ring, just not this new one.

One might get the impression they're trying to be deliberately misleading here...

If they don't abort on the request if the male (50% owner of baby genes) then the man should be able to apply for a "financial abortion" where he is no longer responsible, but is banned from interfering in the baby's life.
