If you think me saying that it was more akin to fascism than communism was somehow a defense of either, you are sorely mistaken

a defense of either

It is consent to any suggestion (-ism) that causes the offense. Any suggestion towards your choice tempts "want or not want" consent. If you chose either; you find yourself within the want versus not want conflict (reason). Whatever side you chose will then tempt you to defend yourself against the other side.

That is called division (reason) by suggestion (-ism). Meanwhile in reality...choice represents the response to balance (need/want); which is what the many ignore when falling for the temptation (want over need) of suggestion (want or not want).

Communism; fascism; capitalism; socialism; idealism; feminism; veganism; scientism; metamorphism; individualism and every other suggested -ism are all representing the same foundation of choice...want or not want; hence want over need (temptation of ignorance). Tricking the many into this represents choice (suggesting) to choice (consenting) contract law; which is ignorance of balance (offer) to choice (response) natural law.

The mass industrialization of the aforementioned contract law (choice to choice) is called RELIGION, noun [Latin religio, to bind anew; re and ligo, to bind.] and the main tool to suggest represents spell-craft aka suggesting idolized meaning (words) over perceived meaning (sound).
