That feeling when the only judge that matters doesn't work for the government:

Post this shit to Facebook.
Boomers love this shit.
I would not be surprised one bit if Facebok bans crosses in the near future. No authority but the state.
All of these churches using Facebook or YouTube to stream services may be in for a rude awakening to what these companies are.
I don't exactly agree. Progressive churches will be fine, and will be held up as "true Christians" because they have BIPOC-LGBTQ2SIA+ flags.
The cross will be draped over with those flags.
Not really, they will get the option of sending the right message and then they will be allowed to keep streaming using these services.
Unfortunately modernism is rampant in both Catholic and especially Protestant Churches, and a lot of Orthodox Churches are essentially arms of the state.
Sadly many Christians will end up in Hell for giving up an uncomfortable Eternal Truth for a momentary comforting lie.
Eh, keep Facebook content on Facebook. I don't really care for it.
I'm a lifelong atheist, but the last 8 years have really confirmed to me that your average person requires a God in order to not descend into worshipping their government.
it does require a certain intellect, to not descend into godless heatheny. I bet all the faggots ruining disney star wars have no religious ideals.
As another life long atheist, I disagree. Fundamentally, the problem is that we have so many authoritarians, dependapotami, welfare queens, and others with a Slave Mentality, that they require a Master to take care of them. We are not a free society because we have too many slaves.
This is Nietzsche's point about "God is dead and we have killed him." When you kill the very concept of God, you are required to take responsibility for that murder, and you must adopt a Master Mentality to live your own life. You can't replace God once he is dead.
These are slaves finding new masters to act as their dead God.
We have to teach the slaves how to live without a master, and to take responsibility of their own lives, rather than pass it off.
I would like for every man to be a King, but doubt human nature makes that possible. There is a reason hierarchical systems of governance persisted for most of civilization. Yes we should try to teach the philosophy of liberty as much as possible but you'll always have sheep that need to be led. Either by religion, a king, or collective.
Sure, but that's why you lead them out of being sheep. I think most people, even people who are regarded as wards of the state, can do that.
I have a friend's fiance who is disabled with mental illness. She's struggling to learn independence, but she's getting it (finally moved out from abusive parents). She doesn't need a God to correct that, just some damn self confidence and the realization that (for the most part) she can make it on her own with little assistance.
Compared to all the other permanent welfare queens, you can really tell the difference that it's mostly just attitude.
