Well...that's a difficult question to answer. Assuming I actually was a leader with actual power to change things...would I still think the same way? Would I moderate my thoughts? Would I back down to make compromises? I don't know, I haven't been and probably will never be in a position to find out.
I do not mean that you would command, because as someone who actually cares about ideas rather than just power for power's sake, you would be marvelously unsuccessful at it.
