Let's pretend for a moment that 'diagnosis: hambeast' is, in fact, incorrect. If you followed the doctor's advice and lost weight and the problem persisted, the doctor could no longer diagnose you as a tub-oid and he would 'be forced' to find the 'real' malady. Problem solved and now you aren't disgusting to boot.
