The end game is about giving players the opportunity to resell their items once they're finished with them or they're finished playing the game itself.
This doesn't require the use of NFTs. We know this because it's been done before with systems like Diablo III's Real Money Auction House. It happened back in the 2000s with Second Life. If they just wanted to allow resale of in-game items they could have done so years ago.
It's not a hard concept. An NFT is a unique certificate of ownership for an intangible digital good that is infinitely reproducible. The certificate is unique and cannot be copied, but the good exists independently of the certificate and may still be copied. While it is tempting to say that such a certificate has no value, the fact that people buy them says otherwise as value is subjective and unique to an individual at a specific time.
In Ubisoft's case, this certificate does correlate to control over a scarce resource, but only because video games already have ways to ensure scarcity through centralization and the examples are so numerous as to make a complete list impossible. It is better to say that such simple concepts are beyond the comprehension of an executive who is barely capable of understanding his own desire to cash in on the latest fad.
You think it’s funny to take screenshots of people’s NFTs, huh? You must be a very immature person to steal someone’s property that they PAID for. Yeah, I said it. You’re the kind of person who thinks that property theft (a seriously illegal offence) is a joke. I don’t even know why you took that screenshot, because you didn’t pay 1000 dollars for it. I did. The blockchain doesn’t lie. Even if you try to save it, it’s my property. You’re just angry that you couldn’t afford this priceless masterpiece. Even if you could, your fingers couldn’t even click fast enough to get one of the 10000 NFTs sold. You’re just mad you don’t own what I own.
So, delete that screenshot, or I swear, you’ll be hearing from my lawyers.
NFTs are the latest evidence that leftists don't have an inner monologue.
It's some tech, take it or leave it.
Yet out of the shit they crawl in droves to all of them chant the same few lines they've seen repeated elsewhere.
A uniform blob of ugly, wretched, sadistic, unhinged, stupid cretins driven by their negative emotions.
An NPC army that can be pointed at anything and be expected to uncritically attack it with hysteria and hatred.
These same worthless morons will start collecting NFTs of black women in a few years and present them in their metaverse homes where they virtue signal about how much they love diversity.
These same useless idiots will tell their kids they always loved NFT because the worst thing for them is being seen as uncool or not with whatever is the latest trend.
In just a few years these same disgusting leftist wastes will riddicule anyone who doesn't care about NFTs and who hasn't made NFTs part of their digital life.
They'll embrace it and call you a right winger for not having the right NFTs on your twitter profile.
As much as they hate NFTs now, just as much they'll love it when they're told to. They're repulsive, sick, neurotic, evil imbecils paralysed by anxiety with nothing of their own and they will always follow the trend for added feelings of protection, it's all they are: a repugnant hivemind of perpetual fear.

I like the idea of reselling items when I'm done with them, to be honest.
Makes it a lot easier to quit a game.
How useful are nft's in regards to commissions?
the ONLY ones i see complaining about nfts are trannies.
what about pedos?
