While good news, the show is still incredibly popular and a great hit with women.
I hope even a minority of those women are motivated to read the books. Jordan portrayed women more realistically, by which I mean less sympathetically, than almost any other author in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. I can't wait to hear the shrieking about how it's nothing like the show and how they can't believe how sexist (honest) it is.
Having worked around women in stressful situations, I can say with some authority that he does not portray women accurately at all. They all lock up and go into panic mode, quickly turning to the nearest man for help when things get scary.
10% a week is not fast enough.
As far as I know (and read), even the most ardent show defenders went mad after watching the last episode, so if Amazon will give permission to make another season (a third one), numbers of S2 will be very low.
I can't help but to ask: what happened in the last episode?
I did not watch it (not even one episode), but there are no rules anymore: 3 women destroy every enemy, and the show totally destroyed the plot, the lore, everything. It's not even 'WOT in name only'.
Wamen saved the day.
Do we have anything even resembling independent third party verification of viewer numbers from streaming services? These people have ever reason to lie, and there's essentially no way to catch them.
Hell, I still think Disney cooked the books for Captain Marvel.
You are right, but the numbers unwaveringly going down.
