The only thing Ted Cruz cares about is keeping his job. He clearly thinks the opinions of the Democrats are more of a threat to that than the opinions of republican voters.

He may even be right.

I honestly suspect that he probably is.

Something you can never accuse Cruz of being is dumb. The guy is smart as a whip.

Pre-beard the guy's ugly as sin with a punchable face and yet he nearly edged out Trump for the nomination.

So pay attention to what he's doing because it'll tell you something important - what that is idk, but it's not an accident.

I think he is genuinely concerned that there'll be a federally orchestrated purge of of conservatives, and he doesn't want to get caught in it.
