Superman and Lois isn’t bad and I was pleasantly surprised when I heard they fired the writer who wanted to race swap characters. I watched supergirl for a bit (this was before I got tired of race swaps in general) but stopped watching when her sister being a lesbian became an important side plot
I was so off put by CW that I did not watch Superman and Lois, I just assumed is going to be trash. Was it worth it? What's the plot?
I for sure thought Superman would be weak and Lois would be the real star. I was shocked because it showed a positive family and Superman being a good dad and Lois shining as well. Now season 2 is coming up so hopefully there will be no sort of changes. As a life long reader of Superman comic books I do appreciate how they pay tribute to Action Comics 1 at the beginning and clearly at least some writers have actually read source material
Season 1 is usually bait.
I learned that the hard way with Westworld
I was expecting awful as well, but tried it anyway. Ended up being one of the best series I've seen in a while. Stargirl is pretty good as well, if you're into comic booky stuff
I watched Supergirl. It was baaaaadddd Like, terrible.
Sorry, but it was unsalvageable. And I like Benoist, mostly…
Not sure at what point I came into it, but god was it terrible, from what I saw… 😑
Looking back yes it was. Shame because there have been some good storylines with supergirl in past comics they could’ve used as inspiration
theyd be better off dropping the facade and just making porn not like anyone on vw shows have a career afterwards anyways
