Do developers make any new games anymore? Or have they finally decided that it's more profitable to just remake old games, pull the originals off the games stores, and shut off the old activation servers now that there's no such thing as "offline mode" or "owning a physical copy of a game"?
Woke doesn't sell at all unless parasitically attached to an existing IP with a following, luring people to try to scrape whatever leftover magic they can from whatever is left.
I wonder if they just make Sam Fisher a stunning and brave diversity hire, or ruin it several other ways too. After all, isn't it kind of racist to make the dark areas where you can hide from view? That's gotta be anti-black or something that needs to be removed to update it for modern audiences.
It's a bit of a shame as I'm pretty sure this was the first game I ever played with a 3D graphics card on PC.
It's Ubisoft so I know they'll push 'the message' hard. I expect they'll hit it with the combo of destroying Sam as a character while elevating some strong woman of color in his place.
Sam will only be played in the opening mission, where he will sacrifice himself for a fat black tranny that has to save the world from a secret Nazi cult that hates science.
I'm all for another Splinter Cell game but the people and the studios and world the way it is right now is not amenable to it having any hope of being good.
I think it'll be good, but NFTs will be a prominent feature somehow. They will sacrifice wokeness at the altar of huge future profits if they can normalize NFTs.
Don't forget Ubisoft made an app to connect to the Tezos blockchain a few days ago.

...and said hideous fat black tranny will end up marrying Sam's daughter as the ultimate middle-finger to the fans.
