You can call me anything, but not naive. Many, many people are duped by the wage gap nonsense. There is no reason at all to believe that they have impotent fantasies of killing their brothers, fathers, boyfriends, etc.
lol
Is that good for you? Mentally I mean. My considerably less pessimistic outlook is still quite depressing to me at times.
It is naive to not believe the eternal truth that powers flows from the barrel of a gun. And women will never be the wielders of those guns.
Most people have no idea what's going on. You may follow everything that happens, from a very biased perspective, continuously, but almost no one does. That is what you often forget. The average woman, just like the average man, is just going about her life, having no idea at all of what you describe as her 'privileges', but being plenty conscious of at least the fear she has for her safety when she is out alone.
So when you see the tip of the iceberg, you assume the rest of it as well (like with the wage gap), when there is no reason at all to believe that it's there.
Do you truly believe that? They know that paying people differently based on physical characteristics is illegal.
I'm fine, mentally. I still believe this will end with the good guys winning and putting the enemy leaders in court for crimes against humanity, where they will confess to everyone what their goal was.
There's no way they don't know their life is easier. That statement from them has always been gaslighting and nothing more.
Absolutely. People believe any number of absolutely absurd things. But let me tell you how easily you can believe this. Do you think men are paid as much as women for the same work? Surely not. But it's illegal to discriminate! And yet it happens! You believe that is because of the 'matriarchy', and they believe it's because men 'control' most positions of power.
Well, here's hoping.
The average woman on the street? They absolutely do not. It's easy to notice how things are harder for you, never easy to notice how things are easier for you.
