I swear Netflix has zero interest in a good story. Their whole model is to buy an IP, butcher it, and put their hyper diversity quota before story. I am so glad I have the Conan books I can read. I cringe at the thought of how that will be handled.
The western animation industry is so poisoned they need to keep adding the anime label to get any semblance of legitimacy. Even though the only "anime" thing about it is them aping the art style.
Also, the old Lara Croft was "problematic" to them, but they seem to be unable to just left her alone
