So, the day finally came that my employer claims they're going to be requiring all employees (even remote workers like me) to get the jab. My employer is a federal contractor, so apparently this isn't the same EO that's just a press release (the one for all companies with some number of workers); this one is apparently real.
I have a few of the compilations for how to write up a religious exemption (the one by Gab and the one by Robert Barnes), but does anyone have any information about the lawsuits that were in process against the EO? It's only been a month so I doubt there's any movement, but wanted to double check.
Disclaimer: this is theorycraft as I've never had to do this.
Pay an attorney to write up your exemption request. Delivery it in person and make whoever takes it sign a copy affirming she received it.
Since an exemption request paints a target on your back anyway might as well go all in on it.
That's actually really good advice. Forcing the employer to sign it might put the fear of litigiousness in them, and think twice about pursuing forced mandates on those who claim religious exemptions.
Very good advice.
