Men find women attractive and pay them for access to their attractiveness. Whether it's through a screen or on a pole or in bed, it's always been this way and it always will be. We certainly are living in a society that places fewer external restrictions on this behaviour than probably any other society in human history, and I agree it's not healthy, but it's also not a conspiracy. It's just biology, and you can't condition people out of it. You will never be able to engineer a society where some men are not willing to pay women for sex, virtually or otherwise.
