I've notice a particular pattern in how the news goes thru stories and once you see it enough and you understand AI behavior a bit you too will sense this 'pattern' where it feels like certain news topics get recycled. The NEWS isn't actually 'news' at this point: Sometimes it's obvious as it's a story years out of date redone other times you have to like I said understand AI predictability a bit.
I feel there is a SUPER AI we don't know about running everything that makes even the 'light wave' super computer that doesn't use wires look as dumb as Spell N Speak © in comparison.
Not even remotely does this exist. People like Musk like to tweet about this because it makes people scared and makes them look smart.
The news is just shit and sure some of it is ran by algorithm and the news IS NOT "news" at this point. But to say that it's all because of an AI is just missing the mark by a mile.

There is that suspect about the automatic suspension of Twitter, Gmail, Facebook, etc, accounts. The engineers don't know why the accounts were blocked and why the AI algorithm made those decisions. Maybe an AI is playing with our society and institutions already?
I think an AI is trying 'but failing' to run the world.
