A lot of the top livestreamers ARE women, on Youtube at least. Except they're Japanese vtubers, which is probably not what woke leftists want when they think of "female representation" but it is overwhelmingly what men want to watch and spend their money on.
Probably don't know enough about the topic to speak on it or were too lazy to look into J-streamers, or more Asians don't count kind of stuff. Reporters are lazy nowadays, on top of being woke.

Most Japanese streamers use youtube. Pretty much only fighting game players and competitive people like that use twitch over there.
