Previously, Merriam-Webster changed the definition of 'sexual preference' overnight in order to label its use as 'offensive', because it was used by someone the establishment did not like (Barrett).

It also changed the definition of racism, because... a 22-year-old girl demanded it. It also labeled being color-blind as racism.

TL;DR: it's propaganda.
