Why would a remake of all things need writers to begin with? The story is there, all the notes and quests and scripts still hold up fine enough. What is this need to reinvent the wheel?

This has nothing to do with business. Disney has so much money and so many IPs it doesn’t matter. It’s about using the game as a vehicle for ideology.
