It could be fake, but I'm leaning towards it being real because of the simple fact that it makes sense. A feminized culture will produce transgender ideology, because the lower caste desires to imitate the upper caste for a share of their spoils.

But you lean towards accepting it, because it fits your ideology. You make up ad hoc explanations for everything. For example, that there is an explosion in the number of particularly 'transgender men' - women who mutilate themselves - in the past few years.
