Actually as someone who opposes white nationalism, I'm also confused.
There are other types of Nationalism, including Civic Nationalism. Being that Canada stems from a British Liberal philosophy, Civic Nationalism in Canada is very likely a thing. Canada is predominantly a white country, but that doesn't mean that Canadian Nationalism is White Nationalism. Especially when you are dealing with a very active amount of French Nationalism in Quebec.

Because White Nationalism is just progressive racialism. Racialism generally is.
It's like Pan Africanism or Pan Arabism for white people. It exists to put Leftists into positions of power while claiming collective ownership and protection over a demographic of people.
My culture, language, and values are not "white" in nature. At this point, they are effectively just American. I have no real connection with non-Western whites, we share almost nothing in common but skin-tone. Worse, if I were a genuine white nationalist, I would have to support white communists. I would have to look at them and sympathize with them as a misguided member of my race; much in the same way that Black Nationalists used to talk about Larry Elder back when he was first starting out.
My values and philosophy are intrinsically American in nature. White Communists oppose, not my Whiteness, but my American-ness. The Communists don't give a fuck about white people one way or another, they just see attacking whites as another avenue of approach against "Capitalism", and the eradication of the American values of individualism, liberty, and property; so that they may install themselves.
No Race Matters to them. It never did. It's the Communism. This is why I say, "There are no Chinese Communists, only Communists that are Chinese".
This also goes for the White Racialists themselves. It is simply a mechanism for power, and to espouse National Socialism. They have no desire to preserve the American Liberal Republic; let alone a free-market. And they are prepared to use white people as a mechanism to that power.
The people who are in any position of power in White Nationalism are Leftists and are frauds. But if I were to try and be a genuine White Nationalist, it would mean abandoning my opposition to Communists, Royalists, Theocrats, and other degenerate authoritarians simply because they are white. As if there is a real bond between us.
The allure that White Nationalists seek to exploit is that concept of family and community. But being white doesn't give you any family and community. That's not how family and community works. If you don't believe me, look at Black America and see how well all that talk of being "brothers" has got them. ... Assuming they haven't already been shot in the head by their "cousin". Screaming at the top of their lungs about family and community, and this is what they got for it.
White Nationalism and Fascism are still both real things.
It doesn't matter how illiterate a communist is. They can just be wrong.
Seems to have been a few waves of banning. I remember a couple of the more vocal anti-diversity types see to have been banned about a month or two ago, missed their posts. I hadn't been posting for a couple days then came back to see myself banned. I don't care to go to that other non-win forum that was bandied about as an alternative. probably just have to create another win community. Isn't that what Kotaku did?

This is easy to answer. A white nationalist implies that there are more than one kind. There are no other kind in Canada, as nationalism already implies ethnicity. The two worded term itself is a way to tarnish nationalism. It is a trap to divide.
