Vote like your freedom of movement depends on it
I would invite all my fellow leaf-fags to take a break from enjoying one of the last weekends you can patronize your favorite patios without handing over your entire medical history to someone whos profession is nowhere near medical practice, to do the same.
Bring your election card, bring your drivers license or 2 pieces of ID with your address and name. And i plan to return on the formal election day just to make sure my vote was logged i recommend that too.
A better canada is possible. We just need to reach for it
It's a difficult decision to make, but I can respect everyone's decision equally.
We need to make PPC more visible as a viable future option, by having as many people vote for them as possible. When it's shown that 10% or 20% of people voted PPC, everyone on the right as a whole will know they're a more viable option in a future election, and they will likely get more votes next time, etc. etc.
But... we'd also probably be better off voting in Trudeau-Lite (O'Toole) over Trudeau-Actual in this specific election, so some people who are considering PPC would also probably think to vote Conservative since there's no way enough people on the right are going to vote for PPC to make them win.
I didn't realize he had said that about the vaccine passport. I haven't really been following it all but I assumed he at least had some conservative opinions. If not, fuck him then.
This is the biggest reason I voted ppc. Please if you know anyone else anti-passport entreat them to vote ppc they are the ONLY party against it
They're always a tad less bad than the opposition to persuade people to vote for them.
Why ? Voting either gives you the same result :
There is no reason to vote out Trudeau only to install O'Trudeau. In both cases, you get Trudeau.
I understand your position but wish people wouldn't split the vote by voting O'Toole. If enough people aren't going to vote PPC that's what needs to change.
Individual votes don't matter, only voting blocs do.
You might as well vote with your conscience since your vote is only symbolic (ie. Voting for Trudeau vs O'Toole vs Bernier doesn't matter in an individual riding unless the election is decided by a one vote margin).
It is a lot more effective to try to influence the votes of people around you rather than whom you vote for yourself. And even then, an individual would have to change the hearts of minds of dozens or even hundreds around them to make any real difference as an individual (although many people working together in collaboration towards a common goal could theoretically flip enough votes to make a real impact).
Individual votes are more tribal in purpose for the individual, so they can either feel the satisfaction of contributing to the winning side or conversely that they didn't condone the eventual winner for posterity purposes, though their actual vote didn't impact anything either way.
I think you're completely wrong.
Just look at what happened to the Conservatives in the UK. Voting for even Boris Johnson was a mistake. The Conservatives enacted Labour policy in the UK. The Conservatives in Canada are already pledging to enact "Liberal" policy in Canada.
The only correct tactical voting is about giving power to the PPC and letting them attempt to mobilize the population for open defiance of tyranny. Voting conservative will just promote continued Leftist establishment politics as normal.
Your votes are already irrelevant anyway if you enact people who intend to ignore them.
