(I hope the mods will not get angry, so they will allow my last post regarding The Wheel of Time tv series.)
After watching the trailer there are hundreds or even more posts about 'the show still lacks diversity'.
Words really fail me.

I bet that they don't know Robert Jordan was white, heterosexual, and Episcopalian.
Also a Freemason.
Diversity doesn’t mean genuine diversity, and it’s the complete opposite of appropriate and authentic diversity. Progressive diversity only means everyone involved is a faithful believer in the cult of diversity, inclusion and equity. And that they’ve signaled their virtue sufficiently.
The diversity game can’t actually be won. It shouldn’t even be played. And it completely undermines the required respect for the source material. Every single time.
It looks TERRIBLE. The production values are on par with amateur and fan films. The story appears to be going full revisionist with women taking the lead in a series that is literally all about men re-becoming the most powerful people in the world.
And the White Tower is practically the Vatican.
I'd rather watch a brazzers version.
Guaranteed to be more authentic.
Diverse means all black or brown. You are more diverse with fewer white people, but you can’t really be diverse until you have no whites at all.
Not watching it, never read the book. Maybe I should put the audiobooks on my commute listening docket.
Do I just start from the first book?
Can you link the trailer and the comments? I don't know what this is about.
I will not link to this travesty; posts can be found on FB, Twitter, Instagram, and similar places. I do not use them, friends send these utterly disgusting links to me. I think I will break my relationships with them.
The Wheel of Time TV series, as far from the books as the Amazon show will be from LOTR. You can find the trailer on YouTube, if you have a strong stomach.
