I already know people who are onboard with it. And I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. This are the same people that thought the Patriot Act was a horrible invasion of privacy. This was at a BBQ that I was hosting and I was the only one that thought it was fucked up to have chip implant that would monitor your location and vital signs. Their arguments were:

it can save your life
if you have nothing to hide then why would you not take one

I've been very cold with this particular group of friends since then. It is unreal how much they flipped from "the government is dangerously powerful and wants to monitor us" to "the government is this great and good deity that we should trust unconditional".

But I'm proud of myself to sticking to my guns on the topic and told them they were being idiots.
