I've only heard good things about Kenshin live action movies.
I've watched four of them and they're pretty fucking good. Of course they were made in Japan.
Same with the Death Note ones. The ones directed by Shusuke Kaneko from 2006 not the Netflix trash.
LOL, i watched the first one and it was GARBAGE. I flinch thinking how much worse the Netflix one must still be though.

People seem to like the Kenshin one and they also said "Blade of the Immortal" was good too. Maybe them being a bit more grounded in reality, samurai stuff helps.
