They hate Marines because the Marine Corps has always been pretty aggressive about their patriotism, duty, responsibility, and camaraderie. These are anti-Leftist positions.
Both presidential candidates individual donations can be broken down by employment. In 2020, the most common employment for Joe Biden's individual donations was Librarian. The most common employment for Donald Trump was US Marine.
How many Marines donated to Donald Trump's Campaign? About 200,000. How many Active Duty US Marines are there? About 220,000. Damn near the entire Marine Corps donated money to Trump's campaign. They represent one of the strongest and most lop-sided levels of support. It's one of the reasons they want to purge the military, and it's one of the reasons they hate Marines.
There's a couple other aspects too.
Marines tend to be familiar with the level of aggression needed to challenge the authority and take losses when confronting a strong oppressive force. Genuinely, look at all the people who did some sort of public lockdown or quarantine defiance, including ones that involved fines, arrests, and jail-time. You will disproportionately find Marines and their fucking bars and gyms. That's another reason they fucking hate Marines: they aren't just predominantly right-wing and patriotic; they also actively fight.
Then there's the fact that Marines all tend to have family lineage in the Marine Corps. And, as a result, their parents and grand parents fought in Vietnam, and were called Baby-Killers by these very same people. Communists, actively supporting and slandering the USMC is not new, and it pissed off their family before; now it's pissing off the descendants all over again.
The left fucking hate Marines, and the Marines tend to fucking hate them back.
I highly doubt these deaths won't absolutely infuriate a lot of people in the Marine Corps. If I were the Commandant, I'd be very worried about "good order and discipline", because with the vaccine mandates and now this... a lot of Marines are going to be more and more publicly agitated.
I'm not trying to be a dick, but "Chair Force" isn't a joke. I've been to the USAF Customer Service section on a base. Whole swathes of the Air Force can be basically just another government bureaucracy with a uniform. The US Army can be a huge bloated makework program.
The Marines aren't intelligent. But the power of the USMC's cultural institution is the key difference. "Aggression" is not a bad word, but "individual" is. The focus on pride, excellence, and competition, make it not suitable for most Leftist rhetoric. Globalist rhetoric, as Mattis shows, it's more than possible. And although plenty of Marines don't necessarily live up to that level of excellence, there's such a huge social pressure to preform that it can't be easily co-opted by Leftist narratives that would work quite easily on civilians. "Rights, Democracy, Equality, Love" just don't work as rhetorical devices when the response is: "Fuck your rights and call your congressman, this isn't a democracy, we're not equal we're better, and violence of action is much more effective than love."
My father served with a marine unit in Vietnam as a Navy Corpsman. He saw combat duty and saved many lives. He survived night raids from not only the vietcong, but the tiger they released that ate one of his friends, listening to the fucking crunching of bones. He was sent home a month before Tet and was thus the only survivor of his unit.
Yesterday, 11 marines and 1 Corpsman were blown to hell by fucking jihadi and these feminist cunts, these SJW traitors, that fucking terrorist in chief Biden are all acting like it's business as usual and look at these frilly dresses for these faggots and cunts. If I had my way, they would learn the lessons being a marine for this country taught my father and his friends.
This is an absolutely unnecessary tragedy, of course, and I pray for the souls of those marines and their families. However, the bereaved can take some solace in the fact that their loved ones died doing just about the only worthwhile thing America has ever done in Afghanistan, and that's getting the hell out of it.
When a child asks 'What did my father die for?', at least the families of these marines will have a better answer than those who died before them.

Those soyboys and feminists.. don't understand you need toxic masculinity to fight tyrants and dictators. not trannies, dildos and lattes.

The navy does all the navigating. We shoot the things.
No one needs "toxic" masculinity or "toxic" femininity.
You just need masculinity and femininity. The issue is that the left frames all masculinity as toxic.

So is six million.

They only know how to respond with outrage, and if they ignore the event it isn't like the media will do anything about it.
It is nice to have the entire media on your side, makes it easier to get through their glaring mistakes.

I'm sorry you grew up with only your whore mother and the series of pedophiles she called 'your new dad'.
Daddy touched your penis and you liked it.
Your nickname was toilet, wasn't it? It is sad, but you can overcome this with help.
It was also more on 1 day than the annual total in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2020.
I was under the impression we were losing more lives than that. This helps put it in perspective.
Less than 70 American KIA in Afghanistan 2014-yesterday.
It was also the third most deadly attack on the Americans in the entire war, after 2 Chinook shootdowns (the last one a decade ago).
The cabal doesn't work well under pressure.

At least 2 Army soldiers too.
(Also a British family etc.)
