In that, a dude named Allan MacDonald told everyone that it was dangerous to launch the shuttle in really cold weather because the rocket boosters were held together with rubber o-rings that shrank when the weather was cold. He was dismissed. And we all saw the results.

They thrive on bribes and 'donations' from Doctors flush with money from kickbacks overprescribing.
The opioid epidemic didn't stop it, I can't imagine this will. They run way, way more stuff then you realize and they have their roots in deep.
We'd have to overhaul the politicians to even allow a chance for alternative treatments to catch on.
