It's because they surround it with verbiage so it seems intellectual. The person who made this just exposed it by removing the excess words.
It's just a variant of "homophobic". You either hate gays, or you're a closeted homosexual, if you disagree. The left often uses "when did you stop beating your wife?" arguments.
